Ted Ladd is currently the director of advertising at The Beltsville News since 1997 (19 years!)
Ted Completed 36 years of Federal Service, including 4 years with USAF.
Volunteer involvement since retiring has included 25 years of service with the Beltsville Lions and Lions Clubs International. He had served as District Governor of Lions Clubs International District 22-C from 2007-2008.
Also as the News Director of The Beltsville News for some 12 years (now over) and still advertising manager (19 years).
Scoutmaster of Beltsville Troop 1033, BSA for 11 years.
Served with Volunteer Maryland (AmeriCorps) for 2 years at High Point High School and stayed one more year there establishing and coordinating a volunteer program for the school.
Involved today with the Multiple District-22 Lions Vision Research Foundation, affiliated with the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Served as its president during 2012-2014, and now serves on the Board of Directors and as Co-Chairman of the Patient Interview Task Force, a part of the initiative known as the Lions Low Vision Rehabilitation Network, designed to help those with low vision in Maryland, Washington D.C. and Delaware.
Ted Ladd also has been very involved with the GBBA (Greater Beltsville Business Association) since its inception in January 2010.
